My littlest niece says the perfect guy for me is one who is nice, smart, and funny. She's on the lookout for him, but I figure I might as well keep trying, too, just in case.
Personally, I can enjoy myself in a quiet, peaceful spot, or I can have fun out and about. I'm secure in my life, but I'd love to find someone to share it with, preferably someone stable and secure as well. Humor and intelligence are big attractions.
I love the beach, summer, good food and wine, soccer, track, Duck football, hanging out with friends, and spending time with my two nieces. I like kids a lot, and even work with them, but I'm not sure I want to bear children at this point. Of course, as long as you are a good father, it's fine if you already have kids.
I enjoy the arts--I love a good play. I love to travel--Hong Kong was pretty cool. I did a two week cruise in the Adriatic and Aegean. That let me see some amazing places! Went to Iceland recently. Hawaii, Vegas, NYC...all good places. I have the means and time to travel, but it'd be nice to have a companion. Basically, I enjoy experiencing new things. I golf in the summer which is a fun way to spend some time.
Having some of the same interests would be great, but I also am looking for someone with different interests. I like trying new things (or old things once again--see slip 'n' slide photo), so if you have something you like to do and want to share it with someone... However, no guarantees that I'll be good at it. :)
I'm originally from Eugene, but live in Corvallis due to my job. Most of my family and friends live in Eugene, so I spend a lot of time in both places.
