Well hi!. My name is Devon (sounds like Devin), and I'm a Speech Language Pathologist and absolutely love my career. I would describe myself as funny, goofy, random, crazy, kind, sweet, sarcastic and smart. I try to treat others with respect and I believe in standing up for others and what is right, even if you are standing alone. I think I have a good balance of work hard/play hard and ...well...I know what I want. I have great family and friends and my life is pretty great to be honest, minus the relationship part. I dated a lot in my early 20's and I"m glad I did...but now I'm pushing 27 and am at the point in my life where i wouldn't mind meeting my life long partner in crime. ;-) I want to start traveling very soon and it be nice to have someone to hop on a plane or go on a road trip with me. I just bought a beautiful house in Bay City's historic district...and named him Bruce...yes, i named the house lol.
As for WHO i'm looking for....well...we all have our wish lists, but bottom line is a want to just meet the person I can see being my partner in crime for the rest of my life...even when we are old and misplacing our dentures and having wheel chair races and taking bus trips to casinos wearing fanny packs! haha. But to get back to that "wish list"...honestly, I want someone a lot like me. Funny, ambitious, hard working, kind, honest, dependable, loves sports (esp detroit and MSU), positive, family oriented, has fun doing just about anything...heck doing CHORES can be fun if you are doing it with the right person. You would think it be not so hard to find, but I like guys who drink a beer while manning a grill and watching ESPN in the background...and can be handy around the house helps too! :-) I watch a lot of HGTV and sort of am a visionary when it comes to a house with no talent to back it up haha so if a guys handy that's great. But in addition to the sports manly stuff, I like a guy who is down to go to shows or museums and go volunteer somewhere....kind of the whole package I suppose!
