I am looking for someone to spend my life with. I'm pretty independent, work a lot, (teach fifth grade and have my own business) and travel most weekends to agility trials with my dogs.
I am very close with my family and always put them first. My dogs are like my kids and mean the world to me. I am honest and expect honesty in return. I'd rather cut the grass than clean the house--the outdoors is my domain! I live in the "country," but I am definitely not a hillbilly! I used to shoot trap with my dad before he got sick--would love to have a new shooting partner. I'm comfortable in jeans and sweats, but I do like to get dressed up for a night out on the town, too. Spontaneous would describe me well! I can be a bit sarcastic and have a great sense of humor. I want someone who is independent, but is not afraid of commitment. I'm looking for intelligence--backwoods hicks need not apply! Also, if you smoke, move on--that's disgusting!
I am a bit health conscience, but not an exercise nut. I don't work out at a gym, but I don't sit around doing nothing either. I take care of myself and like to look good.
I would love to see New England in the fall and cruise the Mediterranean. I hate spiders, but am not afraid of other critters.
Some favorite TV shows include Criminal Minds and the Big Bang Theory. My radio is usually tuned to classic rock, 80s, or country, but I will listen to any kind of music except rap.
If you don't mind a little golden retriever hair...I'm the one!
