I am very much a free spirited person who is passionate about my family, job and volunteering (Special Olympics/Habitat for Humanity). I love to have a creative outlet whether it is at my job as a teacher or working on crafty items around the house. I believe that music is what feelings sound like; music soothes my mind and soul. I love listening to music and watching concerts of my favorite bands. I am huge sports person and enjoy watching basketball, football and tennis. I enjoy going to Indiana Pacers and IU games when they play in Minnesota! :) Some of my favorites are: veggie pizzas, ice cream, organic and healthy foods, ma and pa restaurants, going to local bands, concerts, old Victorian building structures, the German language, board games (I play a mean game of Monopoly,) book stores, the smell of old books. I am very optimistic person and I try to find good in most situations that life throws at you. I come from a very close knit family; my siblings are some of my best friends. I have 3 younger sisters, 1 brother, a great brother in law and 3 wonderful nephews. I enjoy traveling and some of my favorite places I have visited are: Germany, Austria, Boston, D.C., New Orleans, and Colorado (I lived in Denver for 2 years and I absolutely loved it). I love to joke around and have a good time.
I am looking for someone who is able to laugh and have a good time with a dash of sarcasm. It is important to be honest, easy going and not take things too seriously. Also, for someone who is able to stay in and relax but also go out on the town. It might help to like sports and perhaps really get into the games otherwise I may scare ya off! I only say this because sometimes I may yell at the tv screen!! EEK:/ I think that may come from my Hoosier roots. ;) My family and friends are important to me and I would like to find someone who also has that same value. My ideal date would be a fun restaurant or a small coffee shop.
