I’m a California Girl! I feel fortunate to saying I am a Bay Area Native (3rd and 4th generation actually).I enjoy all of this area has to offer. From hiking the coastline to catching a concert or performance in the city.
I am told I am a 'girly girl who I loves to “glam it up” for an evening out. However, I’m completely comfortable in jeans watching a football game, and while i dont feel like this separates me from 'the pack' as it may be...i can also go from one to another in less than 30 minutes and look like i spent 2 hours doing so! Bottom line..definitely a girly girl..in a low maintenance type of way!
As my picture shows…. I'm a full figured woman..however that doesn't make me a couch potato..I work out regularly (3-5 times a week - Yoga, Pilates Zumba). I am totally comfortable in my own skin and refuse to succumb to the social norms that a woman has to be starving and thin to be attractive.
I work a full time corporate job,and I find it very rewarding. I’m lucky to love what I do. I also have my own business. All of this keeps me pretty busy, but I still make time for fun, family and friends.
I love cooking, and am very comfortable entertaining groups of friends for dinner parties… I’ve been told I’m better than the Barefoot Contessa.
It is important to me to keep work/life balance.
I have pretty eclectic music tastes ranging from top 40 to classical, country to Alternative, jazz to Classic Rock.
In general I'm pretty easy going and have the usual variety of interests, movies, theater, cooking, wine tasting, budding amateur photographer, travel.
My friends would describe me as energetic, enthusiastic, and especially gregarious. They would tell you I'm a valued friend, confidant and someone they enjoy being with. I consider myself reserved but outgoing once you get to know me, optimistic, and intelligent, with a strong sense of family and traditional values. I am someone who is thoughtful, affectionate, romantic and spontaneous and I like to learn and grow and live life to the fullest.
I'm looking for a man who is bright, attractive, outgoing and optimistic. Someone who I can respect, admire, cherish and eventually love with all my heart. He should have a great senses of humour, because i love to laugh and have fun. He should be caring, affectionate and sincere. Self assurance, a quick wit are qualities I also admire. I am looking for a special man to have a long term relationship with. Someone who after building that relationship based on trust, open communication and commitment will in time want to marry and possibly raise a family together (whether yours, ours or pets). He will be my best friend, lover and confidante, someone to share life with.
It seems my luck on this site seems to run to "entrepreneurial" young men from Ghana or Nigeria, so i will not be renewing when the time comes
