I recently moved to Champaign to attend U of I's veterinary school. It's a little more complicated than holding puppies and kittens all day but I love it and couldn't imagine doing anything else. I am thrilled by the great opportunities, experiences, and friends vet school is affording me.
It's a passion of mine to travel and explore new places. The quote that says "travel often: getting lost will help you find yourself" is one of my favorites.
I would describe myself (like most I'm sure) as multifaceted. I enjoy venturing outdoors whether that be taking a hike, spending the day by a lake, fishing, or taking my dogs to a park. On the other side I love having a little culture in my life and dressing up for a night on the town.
I do like watching sports (baseball and football are my favorites) and playing them. I prefer to be at a game than watch it on tv. And I will not pretend to be as enthusiastic about sports as the average man because we both know when girls say that it is usually a lie, but I watch pretty much anything except golf. I never found that to be any sort of riveting but hey if you would like to go and play with your buddies more power to you. Mini golf is an exception to that rule but who could hate mini golf? I recently signed up for a 10K with a friend so running is starting to have place in my heart.
I am looking in the cliche sense for someone to spend my life with, to explore the world, and teach each other along the way. I believe laughter is a key to life and taking yourself too seriously never gets you anywhere good. Yet, I do believe everyone should be driven to follow whatever dreams they have; no matter how crazy they may seem.
My family is important to me and at some point (not in the near future) I want a family of my own. We are Italian which means we know how to make great food, laugh, care for each other, drink a questionable amount of wine at times, and maybe talk with our hands more than the average person. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Hope to hear from you soon!
