I enjoy trying new things and finding fun ways to spend my time. I think laughter is essential. I love my job. I'm happiest when I'm surrounded by my friends. I don't like "favorites" questions like, "What's your favorite book/movie/song?" because it's near impossible to choose. (Do people really have ONE favorite food?) I own all 10 seasons of FRIENDS, and even though I've seen every episode more than once, I still laugh out loud when I watch. I really like doing the NY Times crossword, but only on Mondays and Tuesdays because it's too hard the rest of the week. I read a lot, take a ton of pictures on my fancy new camera (that I only sort of know how to use), and wish I traveled more than I do.
I live in Dallas, but work in Coppell (which is also where I grew up). I've been teaching for 5 years, and I like that I'm still learning new things about my job. As sappy as it may sound, my students make my life brighter. I'm lucky enough to have most of my family close by, and I'm thankful that they are part of my life. (There's a lot of them.) I have a close group of girlfriends that I really couldn't live without, and I love it when we're all together.
I don't really know who I'm looking for yet. I do, however, know that I would love to find someone that makes me laugh, that appreciates me for who I am, and that is honest and genuine.
