It's funny, I've sent e-mail to a few men on this site because their profile indicates they would be willing to at least be friends...but nobody responds back. Maybe if I modify my profile a little bit I'll get some response.
I'm currently a Registered Nurse in the area. I recently moved here from Arizona with my two daughters. It's just the three of us, and we don't know a lot of people in the area. Life has thrown me some curve balls recently, but it's time to get back on my feet and move on. Prior to becoming a nurse I was a police dispatcher/911 operator for 9 years. I loved being a dispatcher, but knew that something was missing in my career. Nursing allows me to be compassionate and to give and care for others in their time of need. I treat all of my patients like I would want my own family treated. I really feel like I may have found my purpose.
In a man I'm looking for someone to spend time with, to be best friends with, someone who likes me for who I am. A good listener is imperative, as sometimes my job is really emotional and I need someone to talk to who won't ridicule me for my feelings. You must have a sense of humor. I like to go out to dinner and try new places, go to the movies (I'll watch almost anything), sporting events are a great time (I like baseball, hockey, football), or just stay at home. I love to travel to new places. My favorite vacations are Ireland and New York City, but I also love to go on cruises to just about anywhere. I like to go to the lake, stay in a cabin in the mountains or a hotel on the beach. I'm not difficult to get along with. I like to have fun and try new things.
I'm not one to argue about politics and/or religion. I think those are personal choices, and I'm not going to push my opinion on you. I think having a difference of opinion at times is healthy so that another perspective can be seen and considered but it's not worth going to bed mad over.
My kids are my world, but I have room in my life to share with the right person. You should be well spoken, honest, and communicate in full sentences. I hate reading text-type messages, and when someone types in all capital letters. I want to date someone who isn't afraid to hold my hand in public, to put his arm around me and act interested in being with ME. You should also be employed, be financially secure, and have a vision and a plan for your life. I don't have much debt, and I'm looking for someone who isn't buried in debt either.
My friends say that I am funny, loyal, dependable, honest, caring, and sometimes a little sarcastic - maybe you'll think so, too. I have a lot to offer in a relationship, even just a friendship, so don't make your judgement of me until you send me an e-mail! I always love a new friend, even if you aren't romantically interested. You never know who you'll meet.
