That said, I'm compassionate, happy, enjoy a good laugh, enjoy my family and friends, I'm quick witted, sometimes quiet, sometimes serious but most important, I love being a mom to my 9 year old son.
My favorite place to be is on a white sandy beach looking out at clear blue water where it's hard to see where the water ends and the sky begins, and a warm breeze brushing against my face.
I love the outdoors and this winter, have really missed the summer. I enjoy recreational sports like softball, volleyball, and cycling. I'm always willing to jump in and try a new sport.
As an Assistant Den Leader to my son's Cub Scout Patrol, I am enjoying learning how to be more of a "Readyman" and learning new skills that benefit the scouts, as well as my own personal development.
Another favorite activity is the time I spend volunteering for my city's police department as a Field Civilian Auxiliary. My goal is to earn the rank of bike patrol for this coming summer.
Prior to January, I took a year self imposed sabatical from my career. It was a great year and I focused on self-improvement as well as spending more time with my son. A really fantastic opportunity with a wonderful company brought me of my hiatus and I'm enjoying every moment of it.
