I am originally from China, I did my undergraduate in International Journalism in Beijing, China, then I moved to the US in July, 2009. I hold an M.A. in Communication from Purdue, Fort Wayne campus. I have been working as a Marketing Analyst for a fast-growing company in Lafayette, IN since Feb. 2012.
I am a goal-achieving person. Born and raised in China as the middle child of the family, I've learnt to do chores and helped around the house at a very young age. For school, I am a hard-working student, top 1 at my college with BBC work experience by the year of my graduation, which helped me realize my dream of coming to the US for my graduate school with full scholarship. I graduated with an Outstanding Graduate Student award and 4.0 GPA. For work, I enjoy what I am doing, and look for areas to improve myself all the time.
I am passionate about life, and I have a variety of interests. Working out and keeping a healthy lifestyle is very important to me. I try to work out on a daily basis, or at least 5 times a week in some hectic days. I like music, movies, reading, and cooking. I listen to all kinds of music, but my friends are surprised that I like R & B and country music! I like Taylor Swift except her attitude toward her ex-boyfriends (lol). I like cooking, I cook my own meals (mostly Chinese food though). I've traveled to about 25 cities in the US and China, of course.
I am a caring and giving person, especially for my significant other. I am looking for someone to start a serious relationship, and eventually a family in the US. If you are still looking around and playing (there is nothing wrong with it), I am probably not the person you are looking for though. With that being said, it doesn't mean being with me is not fun! I am a fun-loving person, and making life interesting and exciting has always and will be part of my life.
I am a social person who loves laughters. Life is short and can be tough sometimes, but keeping a positive attitude and a sense of humor can at least make it a little easier.
I am looking for someone who is smart, dependable, down-to-earth, and caring. I also appreciate the effort of working out and staying in shape. Being an international person, I think open-mindedness is very important. It's OK if you are not from my culture, but you have to try and understand it, or at least respect my culture, and appreciate what shapes who I am today.
Good relationships are not easy, it requires communication and mutual efforts. Men and women are different in a lot of ways, well, every person is unique no matter how much we share in common. You cannot assume or expect everything goes well by itself in relationships. Collaboration and compromise are my ways of dealing problems and issues in relationships. However, if two people are truly in love, they'll always figure out a way to work, and embrace each other with open arms at the end of the day.
