I grew up in the Twin Cities and went out of state for college, which made me realize how much I love living in MN. I played golf in college and you will still find me practicing on the range in the summer with my dad. I am very close with my family, most of whom really love sports, so going to a Timberwolves or Twins game would be an idea of a good time for me. I love to bake and try new recipes. I have to admit that I am still learning to cook and there are about 100 pinterest recipes waiting on my computer for me to attempt someday. I am definitely a warm weather kind of girl and wish that I could transplant the state of Minnesota somewhere down by Florida. When it is nice out I love to go to the lake whether it be Calhoun, Harriet, Minnetonka, or somewhere up north. I love to go swimming/boating in the summer and find that there is nothing more relaxing than lying out in the sun reading a book.
On the weekends, I enjoy going out with my friends but I am getting to the point where I am just as happy staying in. I love girly reality shows that make most guys cringe but I am also a huge fan of New Girl, Modern Family, The Office (except for this season), and Revenge. I have many travel plans but am waiting for the right person to take them with. I have been all over the U.S. but only out of it once and I hope to travel to Europe and the Mediterranean sometime soon.
Overall, I have a love for life. I am a positive person but do wear my heart on my sleeve. I believe that good manners and good grammar are musts and that being kind and polite to strangers is something that is too rare these days. I am very girly- pink has been my favorite color since I can remember, I have more handbags then a person will ever need, and you will rarely find me without nail polish and jewelry.
I would like a guy with a good heart, close with his family and friends, someone who likes going out once in awhile but can also be content staying in watching a movie or playing a board game. I want to be with someone who is trustworthy, honest, kind, and values education. Someone comfortable going out to a nice dinner but who also enjoys biking around the lakes. I would love to be with someone who has the same interests as me and who can make me smile!!
