Hello there! Thanks for taking the time to check out my profile. So here goes...
Friends have described me as funny, intelligent, caring, and athletic. I am somewhat of a homebody but LOVE to travel. I mostly travel to different parts of the country to run marathons and half-marathons but go to an amazing spa every summer in Arizona for a true week of bliss. I love my job as a counselor for adolescents and young adults - there's certainly never a dull moment with those populations! I'm into regular exercise and healthy cooking (most of the time). A fun date for me (albeit generic) is going out to eat and to the movies - I guess I'm kind of an old-fashioned kind of girl in that respect. I don't drink but certainly don't have a problem with a man who drinks socially. I also like to read and/or just veg out on the couch watching my favorite tv shows after a stressful day at work. Most types of music are fine with me - I find myself listening to country more but my favorites by far are Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks.
I endeavor to take excellent care of myself in all aspects - emotionally, physically, spiritually, and mentally - and am looking for someone who strives for the same. Exercise, healthy eating, adequate sleep, and overall self-care issues are important to me. I'm pretty easy to talk to - I think that comes from having people talk to me about their lives, problems, challenges, and dreams for a living! I'm looking for a man who is intelligent, ambitious, caring, faithful, and supportive. He MUST have an incredible sense of humor - silly humor OR dry humor (I don't care) - just as long as he doesn't take himself too seriously and can laugh at himself and at me b/c I can be crazy sometimes. Because I am fairly old-fashioned, I do like romance... things like opening doors for me, sending me occasional flowers, surprising me with cards "just because," etc. I am looking for someone to travel with, to run and/or work out with, to hold my hand, to raise a family with, and to basically grow old with.
