I have a passion for life and all that it has to offer; nature's treasures which we often take for granted - chilly autumn mornings, rainbows after a storm, starry nights, etc. I consider myself to be a very reflective person, but I also LOVE to laugh and have fun! I am also optimistic, compassionate, unpretentious, attractive and occassionally feisty, lol. I am a good communicator and a great listener! Bike riding, hiking, running, boating, and gardening are activities I like doing. I also enjoy busy cities, museums, the theatre, quiet dinners, traveling and venturing to a night club, periodically. My range in music varies from gospel to classic rock to jazz to reggae to classical. James Taylor, Sarah Mclachlan, Blue October, Sia, Rascal Flatts, Dave Matthews Band, Hilary McRae, Black Eyed Peas, Jack Johnson and Josh Groban are some of my favorites.
One of my most revered sayings is: "Never say never!" - Being positive and pushing through tribulations makes you stronger.....wouldn't you agree?
My ideal mate has a lot of great qualities. His character has substance and is not shallow. He is confident yet has a bit of vulnerability. Also, he is optimistic, ambitious, has integrity and a great sense of humor. Not too much to ask, right, lol!!! And though it might sound like I am looking for perfection, nah, not at all! Except, he will be perfect for me!
Also, you should know that I am actually 47, but don't feel a bit older than 29!!!!! And my pictures are all fairly recent!
