I’m a bit skeptical of online dating, but since I travel to a lot of rural places for work, it can be difficult to meet people. I don’t believe that there is just one perfect person for everyone (a.k.a. “the one”), but I do believe in compatibility and hope to find someone I mesh with.
I work as a wildlife biologist and enjoy being outdoors, although after a long hard day of trudging through the woods, I look forward to plopping down on the couch with pizza and a good TV show. I fill much of my free time in dance/yoga studios practicing salsa and belly dance. I love traveling, and my favorite experiences have been exploring the landscape of New Zealand, the music and beaches of Brazil, the architecture and liveliness of Barcelona, and the colors, art and dance of Morocco.
I get along with people who share a similar passion for exploration and outdoor adventure, but also have a touch of occasional laziness. I love dancing with my date! Dance talent is not required, but enthusiasm is a must! I also try to live a lifestyle of compassion and conscientiousness toward the planet, and I value science over religion.
