If the buses from the New School and Old School were to get into a head-on collision, I'd be the result of that crash.
I'm from the south, there's some of that southern comfort in me. That said, living in LA has helped to keep me socially progressive, and has served as a preventative measure from getting crusty and out-of-touch. It's all led to a very level-headed view on life and what's important.
I'll dance to New Jack Swing, Biggie, George Strait, and The Outfield with equal vigor. I dug my experience at French Laundry, but that doesn't keep me from enjoying airplane food. I think Louis CK is brilliant, but....ok I still don't think Dane Cook is funny. At all. I'm sure he's a nice guy though.
I'm comfortable in my own skin - that's pretty apparent when you meet me. I have a clear career direction, and a solid view on where I'd like to be (although there's certainly room for flexibility). I like someone who's equally as comfortable, and is able to parse the superficial from the relevant when it comes to life. And she has to be able to deal with the random declarations that seem to pop out of my head now and then.
I'm looking for someone who's equally as difficult to categorize - as long as she's active, musically inclined, with a slight sprinkling of independence and quirkiness. I'm not really looking for some stereotypical housewife type.
P.S. I almost thought of posting all this on Craig's List but, then I realized that would lead to horrible, horrible things.
