Originally from the midwest, I moved to Florida a few years ago from Washington, DC and love my job working for a non-profit. While in DC for 15 years I worked for a number of national patient organizations but now it's really amazing to be at the local/state level. You get a much better sense of what an impact can be made. I enjoy being on the water. Previously I sailed a lot up in the Chesapeake Bay and I miss sailing. Love taking the dog for a jog and then going for a swim. I also enjoy cooking and grilling out (my specialty is grilled salmon). I've always been interested in politics and current events and like to debate and discuss (but definitely not argue!) My children and I joined a church group where we would head to the beach Friday evening. The grownups would chat while the kids ran around and played. It was great fun and a nice way to wind down the week. Now as my kids enter their teen years I realize how fast it's flying by and would like to conenct with someone special.
