So I was thinking about what to write in this section and decided that I'll just keep it short and sweet and if you find that you'd like to know more, please feel free to ask.
I am originally from NY/NJ but quickly after graduating from college I found that I much prefer the South, though I miss the beach terribly and go as often as possible. I love to go to live sports events especially hockey and football (not a huge fan of basketball). I also love to watch one of my little guys play hockey or my other little guy at his golf lessons. That to me is a great way to spend a weekend morning/afternoon.
I have two sons who are honestly the best thing that has ever happened to me. They are 8 yr old fraternal twins who keep me on my toes. I've been divorced for about a year and was separated for about 1 1/2 years before that so that is all behind me. I have a good relationship with my ex and he is very involved in our sons lives. We figured if we couldn't save the marriage, we would work on saving the parental relationship. Some people are surprised or put off by that, but by putting our sons first, we've been able to work together well.
I am definitely looking for someone laid back and positive. I am happy with where I am in life right now and I'm looking for someone who is in a good place in their lives too. Someone who likes what they do for a living is a huge plus as it makes such a difference in a persons outlook on life when they like what they do. I would like to find someone a bit older than me and who is established and knows who they are and what they're looking for in someone else. As well as someone who has children as they will understand that they are a priority.
I try to give back to my community as often as possible. I am currently helping to build a Special Needs park in Frisco. I actually used a jigsaw and a wood router on Sunday! It is something I find incredibly gratifying and incredibly important. I would like to find someone who gives of his time as well to causes he finds important.
