I've spent the last year and a half transitioning from an urban, academic life to a rural, agricultural one, and am so happy to have made the change. I definitely have an analytical, intellectual streak in my personality, but it's more important to me to be close to the natural world, the changing seasons, and the pulse of life.
I'm definitely a goal-driven person, and have big dreams. But I'm not materialistic or driven by status. Instead, I want to live a rich, full life, close to nature, friends & family, and some choice animal companions, with great conversation and great food.
My friends would all probably list my sense of humor as a defining feature. I'm pretty darn funny, and enjoy basically every type of joke, but few people can really crack me up. Can you crack the code? That said, I can also be a pretty quiet person, and I need regular down time to stay energized.
I'm interested in meeting someone who is laid back, honest, loves the outdoors, has a career they are passionate about, loves food & animals, appreciates funny women, and likes the farming lifestyle. I am open to finding that lifelong match, but also interested in just meeting new people and trying new things.
