I just moved back home after being gone for seven years...I have traveled, loved, laughed, and learned a whole lot since I left. When I left, I was searching for 'something' so I lived in WV, AZ, Cali, and NC...only to find out that what I was searching for was 'home' the whole time =)
Country music, sports, and animals are my passion. If there is music on...I am dancing. If the Bills, Sabres, Spurs, or Yanks are on...I am probably not striking up a conversation (although I may be yelling obscenities at the TV). I love my dog, Sabre, and my parents dog, Sadie and can't say No to the SPCA, Humane Society, Peta, or any other animal charity.
I am super sarcastic, love to laugh and play, and am very much a family person. I was playing pick up basketball at the gym 3-4 days a week and miss it terribly...I played volleyball in college and will probably beat you at bowling, darts, pool, and maybe even golf, on a good day!! I am honest, almost to a fault, and expect the same from someone else. I have been out of the dating scene for a couple years...work, travel, and living life just took up too much of my time. Every single piece of me moving back home fell into place perfectly...from the mere mention to a manager in NY that I wanted to move back to Buffalo...to a job being posted for me within 3 weeks....to my house selling in 23 days on Craigslist with no realtors....to my dad having an apartment available that I could move right into. The only thing left to fall into place is someone to share all my good luck with...hell, you would think I was Irish =)
I don't eat meat but strongly believe that 'to each their own' so I won't judge anyone for their choices or try to pressure anyone to be vegetarian. I am getting my Green MBA...I put off getting my MBA for years because I wasn't 'feeling it' but I applied immediately when I found this program. I can remain in the corporate world and still have a positive impact on the environment and society, while helping my company stay profitable...pretty cool.
I have never met a stranger and the people down south always described me as "Wide Open"....I didn't know what they meant for the first couple years I lived there but I think that is one of the better descriptions.
I would love to find a companion...someone to complement me....I don't need you to 'complete me' because I am good the way I am and, that being said, I want a man that can handle an independent woman. I have been on my own and managed a house, barn, and 10 acres by myself...I own lots of tools AND I know how to use them =)
