I am a single mom with two older daughters, one in high school and one starting college. Where does the time go??
I am have spent so much time finishing my schooling and concentrating on my daughters that I have let myself become way to comfortable with being on my own. They have encouraged me to get back out there and think about myself.
I teach 5th and 6th grade language arts and I love every minute of it. Teaching has always been my calling. I just graduated in 2010, after several long years of working full time and going to school full time and am very proud of my accomplishments. It has been a long journey, and I am happy to be done with school for a while. I do hope to return at some point to get my Masters, but that is a ways off.
I am looking for someone who.... well, who knows! I think that is a crazy question to try to answer. I guess I will know what I like when I meet the right person. I don't do clubs, I would much rather hang out with friends around a big bonfire and laugh. I love watching sports, even though Cleveland has always broken my heart. I am a loyal fan.
My pictures are all recent. My main picture was taken at the beginning of August.
I love my family, though at times they drive me nuts. I live close to my parents so that I can help take care of the house and other things. They are snow birds so I watch the house all winter. I see my family regularly and love to have my nieces and nephews to swim in the summer. We are all pretty close.
Honesty is important to me. Any relationship is based on trust and if you don't have that, well....
On a happier note, as I started my family very early, my children are old enough to hang out on their own if I go out. I'm tired of watching reruns on tv and want to hear about someone else's day when I come home. I don't want to be the single girl at friends parties, RSVP just 1 to work parties, or hear people ask when I am going to finally meet someone again.
