I am not looking to find "THE ONE". I have been single for a couple of years now and feel ready to have a man-friend. I do not want to rush into a relationship.
I want someone who will be my friend and accept me for who I am, the goods and the bads. Someone who can laugh at themselves; has a positive outlook on life; is a hard worker; is honest; will treat me with respect and courtesy, just as I will treat them.
I have two wonderful children who are the center of my universe. I work for them and am 100% involved in their lives and activities. When they are not with me, the house is too quiet and I look forward to their return. Not that I don't like some alone-time, but.... They live and are with me 100% of the time right now.
I love going to the movies, but don't like horror or lots of blood and guts, sorry. Give me a good romantic comedy, sorry again. But I do love Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, etc. Intrigued by Dark Knight Rises (loved Dark Knight). Didn't think I was a Marvel girl, but I guess so. I also love to read.
I enjoy to cook and bake. I have a large garden and enjoy working in said garden.
I love watching the NBA and am a huge Jazz fan. My son is QB for his 7th grade football team and I have really enjoyed football for once in my life and am excited for the start of this year's season. In my former life I was very active in cyling, volleyball and softball. Alot of that, unfortunately has gone away. But I do like exercising. I ran in a half-marathon last year (mainly on a bet) and wanted to disconnect my legs; however, it was a huge personal accomplishment and had a great time running (walking most of it, but running as much as possible). I wouldn't mind doing something like that again, but maybe a 10K first. I am certified in SCUBA but haven't been on a dive in at least 10 years. I enjoy playing golf and killing many worms in the process. Again, volleyball and softball are perpetual favorites. Quiet walks are always nice too.
