So here is where I am supposed to say: that I like hiking, I'm a lot of fun, and that I like funny movies: all the generic stuff. Those things ARE true about me, BUT, to be specific, I am the most ambitious, hard working person you will probably ever meet. I'm also one of the most approachable, easy to talk to people you will ever meet. My persistence and tenacity have led me to be very successful at my job. Persistent enough to break national records. I do things all the way and balance my life very well. I have my priorities straight. I would rather spend the weekend in CA with a girl friend and take the boogie boards out into the ocean than making money on the job. My favorite way to spend a Friday night is having great conversation with a few close friends. I am transparent about everything and people can be surprised how blunt I can be. I do tend to put others needs above my own, and drop everything I'm doing to help someone. I love watermelon. It's the key to my heart. Instead of flowers, bring me the hottest watermelon you can find at the grocery store. I absolutely love living life and revel in the little things like short scenic drives around the outskirts of the valley with some David Crowder or Chris Thomlin music on. That's when I feel closest to God. I travel all the time, whether it be weekend trips around AZ or to CA, or seeing other parts of the world. When I was in third grade, I memorized every state capital and also what state was next to every other state....also I have always had a great sense of direction. The moment where I made my mom the proudest was when we stood in the living room, and she said "Point to the north! Point to the south!" and I eagerly fulfilled her request. (Did I tell you that I'm a dork)? Ooh-getting back to travel experiences, my favorite trip ever was to Peru when I go to meet the ten year old girl I sponsor through Compassion International. The best part of my day with her was going to the zoo in Lima and seeing all the different types of sloths that live in Peru. Have you ever seen a sloth before? They are so freakin' awesome.
That's ME-who am I looking for?! First, I will say that I am picky-very, and you MUST be a Christian. I go to church regularly.
I want a "man's man." Every woman wants a strong man who can protect her, cherish her, etc and I am no different. I like a guy with confidence who can make decisions. I don't need a guy who is just like me. Opposites attract too. A guy who works outside, solves problems, is in construction, etc is kind of hot! But if you sit behind a desk all day, no worries, I am sure there are other ways to show your masculinity! I kind of like a guy who has a "bad boy" image because I find it masculine. Or should I say, "bad boy image, but Christian"...lol. I am looking for someone who will be my leader, someone I will look up to spiritually. Also, someone with a lot of passion. Maybe it's your bottle cap collection, or the fact that you love 80's movies. No matter how dorky, having things you are passionate about is hot. And the biggest thing, or deal breaker, is a guy who does not stand behind his word. My word is my word, always. If I say I'm going to do something, I do it.
A friend once told me to pick a mate based on what you don't like about them, not what you do like-interesting way to put it. A little warning for ya: sometimes I meet people (like on the job, even perhaps sell them something) and then see them a few months later and I forget their name, or even that we met! So you might have to help point out people like that to me at church, around town, etc and save me some embarrasment....lol. Also, I have a second grade math level. When we go the store, help me count my change and make sure it's correct. Anyway, I do like a direct approach, for example, email or two, phone call, set a date
