I am a hard-working, single mom of two wonderful kids. I believe you can do anything you strive to do if you work hard enough and have enough patience. I am most proud of going to college as a single parent, graduating, and getting a job in my career field while raising my children to be respectful, fun-loving, and kind (most of the time! :) ).
I like to get out of the house and have fun. I enjoy a lot of sports, both watching and and participating in them. I like to stay active so I can stay in shape and feel good. I like to try new things and there are a lot of things I would love to try for the first time or get better at doing. Being outside is my preference, particularly in the warmer months. I like to work hard and play hard.
Family is very important to me. My family has been a great support system for me and I am close to a lot of my family and extended family members. I am looking for someone who also values their family relationships.
Another important aspect of my life is my faith. I am born, baptized, and raised a Lutheran. While I don't need my man to be Lutheran, I do need our beliefs to be within the same realm of Christianity, believing in the Triune God and that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior.
I have been independent for many years, but would like to have a special someone to share my life with. Someone who will share the workload around the house with me, back me up when I need it, and be my friend, companion, and partner in everything, and give me his all. I am looking for someone who is not afraid of the children I already have and would like to have more children with me some day. I have always said, "He will have to be mine before he will be theirs." What I mean by that is, I want a man who is crazy about me. One who makes me laugh and smile and feel loved and protected. If I feel a man can do these things for me, I will let him get closer to my children as a more influential figure (eventually moving into father figure, if things progress that far).
When I am in a relationship, I am all in it. I want a man who is the same way. I have never been able to date more than one person at a time. I like to be paid attention to and a guy who can let me know he is thinking of me occasionally. I am hoping to find someone who is ready to settle down in life (that doesn't mean have no fun!) and have a family to grow old with. :)
