Hi there,
After ten long years I moved back to the lake in August and couldn't be more excited! I think I made a fantastic decision, and I'm grateful that I have the opportunity to raise my son in such a wonderful place. I am a very busy professional, single mother and student, but I figured since I still have a few extra hours left in the day I might as well use them for dating ;)
It has been a while since I have been out, and I must admit I am a little out of practice. From what I remember the biggest complaint that I got from men about other dates is that the women didn't look at all like their profile picture. Because of this (and the fact that men are visual creatures) I have decided to honestly give my stats and I am going to do so compared to (in my opinion) beautiful celebrities. I am four months older than Angelina Jolie. I am as tall as Megan Fox. I weigh as much as Roselyn Sanchez. I am a size 6/8. I have long legs and steel blue eyes. My measurements are 32 DDD (natural). I will be the first to admit that I need to put a little bit more muscle on, but other than that I am healthy and take very good care of myself.
I have a few wrinkles, but they are mostly from living, which includes laughing and smiling a lot. With that also comes sun exposure, from living in Lake Tahoe (high altitude) for six years, spending my time outside gardening, hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, boating, camping, playing in Vegas, at random pool party with friends, BRC, (down hill) mountain biking in Switzerland, enjoying time on live-aboards in Thailand and Fiji. Then there was also the diving in Bali and Belize, not to mention the sun-bathing in Mexico and Hawaii. And then there were the Greek islands and everywhere in between. I think you get the just. Who knows? I have been lucky enough to travel the world and I will admit that there were times when sunscreen was the furthest thing from my mind.
So yes, I love to travel, the further the better. I like to travel and dig into the culture. I see no reason to go to another country and eat American food. Honestly I don't eat American food in America. I love to cook and bake. I am always looking for new recipes that are vegan, tasty and healthy (in that order ;). Of course I like to go out as well but it's pretty unlikely that you will find me at a popular chain restaurant. I am huge Sushi fan. I will admit that I am a bit of a sushi snob. I am not really into rolls, I prefer sashimi, the fresher the better. I was pleased to find out that there is a Mikunis at Northstar. If you were paying attention you would notice that I just contradicted myself. As much as I would like to be vegan I love fish and cheese just a little too much. Some of my favorite food is Middle Eastern and Asian. Last on my list is Italian. Tomato sauce is tomato sauce any way you slice it, and I don't really like tomato sauce (not that it's a sauce, but I don't even like ketchup).
What else...
I really enjoy going out to the theatre and cinema. I can put on a pair of heels and a sexy dress for a night on the town or I can rock a pair of jeans and a tank top. I love live music. I am a people person. I enjoy the energy of a crowd, but I am also content with staying home and relaxing with a nice glass of wine and some great tunes on my stereo. I just wrote "stereo" instead of IPod or computer. Is that bad?
Who am I looking for?
As simple as it may seem I am looking for someone like me. As you read earlier I have a young son and he is my number one priority. The next man in my life will need to be a great role model for him (no pressure ;-).
PS if you are seperated, just getting out of a marraige/long term relationship or don't have time to date, please don't contact me until you are ready. I am looking for a romantic relationship and hope that you are too...
