I enjoy life, I find humor in most situations. I graduated from the University of Arkansas last summer and have just completed my first year as a college professor and athletic trainer. My job is my passion and I don't take that for granted, not everyone has that and I know I'm blessed. I have a great family, and love visiting them when I have free weeks in the summer our long weekends during three year. In my free time I cook -I'm pretty good at it if I can say so myself- bike on the trails or work out, and watch some TV. Everywhere I've lived I've had that group of friends who play cards, dominos, or something and I'm looking for that here, not to say I would pass up the chance for romance, but that can come with time.
A perfect day would be spent outside doing something (yard work, playing cornhole, etc), stopping at a new cafe/diner, or trying a new recipe for dinner. I also enjoy stopping in the smaller towns around Dubuque or any major city, and grabbing a specialty item, whether its a hamburger, ice cream cone, or a sandwich. I love to travel, I've been to 5 different countries and want to see more, and I want to visit all 50 states.
People who interact with me daily, would say I'm passionate, honest, and open-minded. I recently signed up to complete the Warrior Dash in August. My siblings and I completed it last year and are taking it on this year. The challenge of a race or sporting event is an ultimate high for me.
A guy who enjoys the same would be great. Ultimately regarding the guy I'm looking for, I'd say I'm not looking for an identical twin, but I am looking for someone with similar values. A guy who can find old furniture and help make it new, or start a roadtrip with just a map and a cooler - I'm looking for a guy who enjoys a challenge and the reward of adventure.
