Let's see..... I LOVE to laugh! I'm all about the arts and creative endeavors (i.e. theatre, music, dance, visual arts, film, literature). I'm pretty badass in the kitchen, so if you like to eat, I'm your girl! As much as I love food, I also like to take care of myself and my body. I try to stay as active as possible, so I MAKE myself work out a lot during the week. (I'm currently addicted to workouts on my lunch break.) I think it might be nice to have someone to exercise with, but please no running! I've tried to go on "runs" in the past and it quickly turns into a jog, then a sad, slow-paced walk, and eventually just me going to get ice cream instead. (I live around the corner from a Graeter's.)
My family and friends are right at the top of the list of things that I adore! I am lucky enough to know all of the craziest, most hilarious people in the world because I am either related to them or they are my best friends. (Correction: I don't know Dave Chappelle. But he lives like two towns away from me, so that's probably close enough.) The perfect/typical Sunday for me is a big family breakfast, followed by laying around, watching movies and playing with my 2 year-old nephew and 3 month-old niece.
I guess you could say that I'm a "girly girl". But who doesn't like getting dolled up every once in a while for a night out? Basically, I like to take pride in my appearance, meaning that when I leave the house I take the time to make sure that I look nice! Don't get me wrong, I can swing it in a baseball cap and jeans, but I'm definitely going to look good doing it!
I absolutely love to travel! I try to take at least two big trips a year. One with a couple of my best friends from college and the other with family. So far I've been all over Spain, Belgium, northern Africa, Canada, Hawaii, China, Japan, and a few different spots in the Caribbean. While I love the traveling buddies I have now, it would also be really nice to take a trip for two with someone special ;)
Soooo.....
What am I looking for in my match? Hmmm... I'd have to say honesty, reliability, someone who can make me laugh, intelligence, kindness, a strong mind. And, of course, passion!. I work full time in addition to co-owning a bakery. Between that and being a full-time grad student, I have very limited time to get out and meet people. I'm hoping that I can connect with someone here who I can spend, fun, quality time with and see where it goes.
