I'm a PE and Health teacher in Westchester, and I can honestly say I have the best job in the world. I also coach tennis and dance.
I love the beach any time of the year. There's something about the water that's just cathartic to me. People watching can be pretty amusing, too :)
The fall is my favorite season, and I love everything about it... pumpkins, apple picking, hiking, football,Thanksgiving, etc.
I've traveled all over the Caribbean, and have discovered some amazing places. Block Island is my favorite place in the world. I also enjoy Newport, Boston, vineyards out on Long Island. I love to ski and spend many weekends in VT. I'm always going somewhere, and it would be great to have someone just as excited to go with me, as they are to watch me go off on a trip with the girls. Big country music fan, too.
I'm a big Patriots and Red Sox fan (usually goes over well around here!), and I love taking road trips to see both teams play. There are few things better better than football Sundays with a roaring fire, full belly and a big glass of wine! Well, maybe a sunny Sunday spent out on the water...
I'm a planner at heart, but not opposed to being spontaneous now and then. I like having things to look forward to, and have become a pseudo-"Julie McCoy" amongst my groups of friends.
I'm figuring out that I have a pretty good grasp on what I'm looking for...and what I'm NOT looking for...however, it's not exactly easy to put into words. I believe in communicating not arguing; calling rather than texting. Texting has its place and function, but conversation isn't one of them. I'm in a very good place in my life, and I would like to find someone to enjoy that with. Honesty, dependability, chemistry, laughs, comfort, mutual interests, etc, etc.
We've all got a past, and I think everything happens for a reason. I've learned that you can't judge someone based on things they have done or situations they've found themselves in because, in reality, all of those things made us who we are today. And I wouldn't change who I am for anything :)
