I am looking for someone who is sincere, funny, honest, and loving. Someone who is ok spending a night at home on the couch, or wants to go out for a night on the town or an afternoon watching a baseball game. Someone who has a sense of humor and can laugh is a must, life is to short to take seriously.
I love doing anything that Omaha has to offer, from Storm Chasers games, Jazz on the Green, shows at the Orpheum, going to the Slowdown, a night out in Benson(Beercade is my favorite). I love checking out the new restaurants that Omaha keeps getting. I can hardly keep up at the rate that they are opening. I am also trying to find a bar in town that does trivia at night, but haven't been lucky on that one yet. I also love checking out the vineyards outside of town.
I consider my job, more than a job it is my career. I love were I work and the people that I work with. Even though I am not directly taking care of patients at the beside any more, I still have a direct impact on how patient care is done. Never in a million years would I have ever thought I would be working in front of a computer, but everything just kind of fell into place and I love it!
I am currently training to run the Lincoln 1/2 marathon this spring. I ran it last year and had a blast and couldn't wait to do it again. My only goal is to finish, I have been plagued with lots if injuries lately, so I haven't been able to keep my plan, but I am sticking with it. I am hoping to be able to at least 1 more 1/2 marathon this summer. I used to hate running, but I have never had such a sense of accomplishment as I did after I finished.
I love to travel, it is my favorite hobby. I usually average 3-4 vacations a year. I just got back from an awesome trip to Puerto Rico. Of all the tropical locations I have ever been to, it is by far my favorite. I am in the works of planning a white water rafting/hiking/zip lining trip to Colorado this summer with a group of friends and then going to Canada in September. I am always looking for a new adventure and place to experience.
I am big into family. Even though my family is pretty small, other than my faith, they are the most important thing in the world to me. I have 2 nephews that have me wrapped around their fingers. I can get easily talked into making forts, putting together Legos and have a light saber battle at the drop of a hat.
