I've been told that if there was ever a show that resembled me, it'd be New Girl.
About me? I'm an optimistic lady, always looking on the positive side of things and can make fun of any situation. I'm a bit nerdy and quirky. I'm a girly-girl and love getting dolled up and going to fancy places; at the same time, I love wearing my Rodgers jersey on a Sunday and watching the game. I've had some of my best nights at dive bars. I can be random. A lot. I work in the buying offices of a retail corporation and I love it. I volunteer at animal shelters and enjoy giving my time to those who cannot help themselves. I've been a vegetarian for nearly 10 years; only recently I've incorporated fish. Don't worry, you do not have to be a vegetarian. I understand this is Wisconsin, it's just my choice. :) I love to go out with my friends, but it's fun to just hang at home too. I love polka dots and glitter and anything that shines. I do love music, some may say way too much. I'm such a nice girl, but will be the first to shout obscenities during a Packers game. My family means the world to me. I'm a very happy person and don't let the little things get to me. I tell lame jokes and often find myself the only one laughing at them. Yes, I am okay with this.
I love staying active. Hiking on weekends, taking my dogs out, pilates. In summer, I spend most of my weekends at Noah's Ark in the wave pool. When I'm not doing that, I'm usually hiking. In winter, I love to go ice skating downtown with some Starbucks (of course). No matter what the weather is, I love being outside. Well, okay, if it's 20 below, I'm not going outside... Unless it's for the Packers.
I never thought I'd be on Match, but after hearing several success stories from co-workers, I thought I'd give it a try. I'm the kind of person who goes out with her friends to go out with her friends and have a good time. Dancing with my friends, being pulled away on stage by a random drunk guy, is not necessarily my idea of a dream. Though, it does make for free entertainment.
Who am I looking for? I want someone who gives as much as I do. He's passionate, honest, funny and can be silly with me. I love the little things. I love to laugh until my stomach hurts and tears fall. Humor is a must. Yes. You must love cats. Also, if you're a fan of getting up on stage for karaoke, you get bonus points.
Starbucks owns my heart. To take it over, you have got to be pretty great.
Side note: Writing this profile out, I see I apparently love to love things. Love life :)
