I like to think that I am a wine glass half full type of person; you'll usually find me with a smile on my face in a good mood... an optimist if you will. I laugh a lot (mostly at myself), throw out jokes (sometimes dirty) as much as I can, anytime I can drop in a movie quote or song lyric into a conversation I do. I genuinely enjoy watching football and hockey (go Blackhawks!), I love watching thunderstorms, fall is my favorite season, and I love going to concerts. I don’t get worked up about too many things and I’m pretty straight forward.
Some of the not so perfect things about me…I do not like pepperoni, curry, olives or snakes. I am about 5-7 minutes late to everything, I hit the snooze button for about 30 minutes every morning, I might. ..maybe... sometimes drop the “F” bomb more than a lady should, but only when it's needed and appropriate.
I love to sleep in, drink coffee and eat bacon and pancakes (preferably in that order) I enjoy running (very slowly) and have done 2 half marathons, and have signed up for my 3rd one in June. I also like doing yoga and some kickboxing.
I don’t do the club scenes (never have) but I do like to go out. You can usually find me at a sports bar, a dive bar or at a friend’s house for “living room happy hour”. I have a pretty witty sense of humor and don’t take myself serious at all.
I am a high school teacher, working 2 jobs and just bought a house.
What I am hoping to find? Well I am hoping to meet someone who loves to laugh and who can make me laugh, a genuine person who is positive, down to earth and has some good morals. Someone who is social, smells good and has a laid back personality are all positives…icing on the cake would be someone who loves the same sports teams as me, campfires, breakfast food, and can kill snakes if I ever encounter one…ugh I freaking hate snakes!
