What I offer..
If you were my sweetie, I would offer meaningful and lively conversation; tireless emotional support; my complete and unwavering attention, appreciations for all the ways in which you contribute, especially the little tasks most people take for granted. I would delight and take joy in whatever interests you. For instance, I don’t have to enjoy ball sports to notice that you do. Experiencing your delight becomes my joy, too. Expect many unsolicited and spontaneous gestures of love, like beautiful and yummy home cooked meals, a hand drawn card with a special love note to kick-start your day or ease you into the evening.
When we’re together, expect endless loving eye-gazing and sweet gentle caresses, soft, passionate kisses to awaken even the most dormant of nerve endings. Imagine sitting intimately straddled, eye-to-eye, lips just a finger width apart, held in beautiful tension. We each hold each other’s shoulder for support with one hand while our other hand is strategically placed over each other’s heart. As you exhale, I inhale in perfect synchronicity, charging the heart connection between us, allowing our bodies to feel expansive and potent.
What you offer..
You offer generosity of spirit and creativity, a lust for life and expansive love. You offer your encouragement and support; willingness to explore deep emotional intimacy. You offer options and flexibility with an authentic voice. You offer nourishment to fuel our explorations.
Volunteer – I am very active in my community. I sit on our local town board’s Sustainability Committee and work to promote Complete Streets and community based agriculture. I am also a member of the NYNJ Trail Conference and have worked on the West Hudson Trail Crew maintaining hiking trails for others.
Politically, I assert a progressive stance, although locally I serve as a district leader for our Democratic club.
My family includes 3 children, teens with one in college. As a homesteader, I raise chickens and sell eggs back to my community. I used to have ducks, as well, until predators decimated my population. I have one cat, too. If it were not for the expense and time commitment, I would have more animals.
Career – Although I graduated from Architecture, I have changed my profession a few times, first to Computer Engineering and then to Personal Fitness Training. My career exploration is more of a journey rather than destination.
My favorite books, movies, shows, music and food..
In the past year, my favorite book was Mark Helprin’s Winters Tale. I enjoy non-fiction authors, like John McPhee, Oliver Sacks and Marion Nestle, as well as periodicals like the journal Nature and Scientific American. Likewise, I enjoy fiction authors like Umberto Eco, Helprin, Barbara Kingsolver and many others. I also enjoy science fantasy and science fiction and am not limited to any author mentioned.
I enjoy an array of film ranging from Jackie Chan to critically acclaimed Independent and foreign films.
All music – classical, rock, soul, blues, pop, etc.
I am a foodie. Need I say more?
