I am someone who is fun and adverurous, with a passion for life and and positive outlook on the world. I am generous and kind and I believe in the good in other people. I laugh easily and don't take myself too seriously, but also have a deeper and more serious side which keeps me grounded. I am half farm-girl, half city-girl. I spend time every year on the family farm. I love living in Portland because of all the cultural offerings our city has, but also its proximity to the mountains and ocean. I like hiking, camping, skiing, rafting, basically anything outdoors, but also dressing up for a night out on the town, nice dinners, salsa dancing, live music, theather...the list goes on. I work at a non-profit women's health clinic and volunteer weekly at a neonatal ICU. I like what I do because I believe it's important to help others and give back.
