I am a pretty low-key woman. My life has taught me to be pretty open-minded and understand that we all have a past. I want somebody who knows that our pasts are what let us down the road to where we are now but they do not have to dictate where we go from here.
I value honesty... so it only seems natural but if I can't trust you to be yourself in the the beginning stages of our friendship then how can I trust you to be yourself in the latter stages?
I'm not looking to necessarily jump into a relationship or getting married tomorrow but I am too old to "play the field". They say time is money, so if I decide to share some of my free down time with you then you must be someone worth investing in because I do not share that with everyone. :)
An old-fashioned Southern girl at heart, it is more impressive to me for someone to pick those little wild flowers out of your yard and wrap them in a wet paper towel (just like you did for your Mom) then to spend a lot of money on some flowers from the store; a colored page from a coloring book says more than a $5 greeting card...it really is about the simple pleasures in life.
If you can honestly say this is you...then let me know. Actions speak louder than words.
