Hello! My name is Heather. I am a 25 year old, born and raised in Minnesota. I can’t say I've ever been asked to describe myself in such detail, but I’ll give this a whirl. I have a very close group of friends and have heard that birds of a feather... so I will base myself off that. I am a very easy going woman that can’t turn down a good time. I should say that my sometimes ‘laissez-faire’ sense of life should never be mistaken for weakness. I have no problem standing on my own two feet, but welcome new people and new experiences in my life just the same. I am very close with my family and if you met them, you wouldn’t mind their company either.
I am a very active person whenever I get the time. Sometimes these winters get a bit long and I find myself counting down the days to when I can get outside to run around the lake or play beach volleyball. I will say I do a good job of staying active in the winter too; a good run on the treadmill or indoor volleyball leagues usually do the trick. On the other hand, I will be the first to admit that I am completely into eating, trying new restaurants and curling up with a glass of wine. Restaurant Week is something that I look forward to in both summer and winter! I also like to try my hand at cooking occasionally, but I would say my friends feel that baking is more my forte.
Travelling is one of my biggest passions. I grew up vacationing often with my family and after I studied abroad in Paris during college, my love for travelling only grew. Somewhere along the way I wound up as the designated travel agent for my group of friends; something I am completely fine with. I love exploring new cities and experiencing new cultures. I’m going to Ireland this summer and am excited for the opportunity to get back over to Europe.
I feel that at this point in my life, I am looking for a partner to share in the rest of life’s experiences with. I need a good laugh on a regular basis, along with the human desire for love and intimacy, but also just look forward to having the comfort of a companion. As usual, I will include all other ‘top-of-the-list’ priorities: intelligent, ambitious, driven, and overall to just be a well-rounded man.
