About me:
I have a boundless sense of humor (mostly sarcastic), am outgoing and love to have fun. I truly enjoy traveling and finding new destinations, both local and far away. I appreciate good food, delicious wine, great friends and people with positive attitudes. I have extremely healthy eating habits (organic girl here), but I am not a vegetarian or vegan. Actually, I'd knock you down for a good steak. Warning: while I may look like it, I am not a blonde bimbo. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I lived south of the Mason Dixon line for over a decade and have grown accustomed to gentlemen with chivalrous manners, especially when it comes to opening doors for a lady. I am a die-hard Hawkeye and it would be nice to meet the same, but I wouldn't rule out razzing a Cyclone if you're a good sport about it. :) I love the performing arts and would never turn down tickets to a hockey game. Okay, I wouldn't turn down tickets to any sporting event. Concerts are great and I dig museums. I have never in my life, ever, grown tired of boating and being out on the water.
Who I am looking for accompanied by who I am not looking for:
If you are a couch potato sucked into watching trash "reality" TV shows, then I am not interested. I favor someone with a brain, high wit and the drive to get up and do something out of the ordinary. Also, and this sounds terribly shallow, yet is none the less true, my match is a gentleman 6' tall or taller. Let’s face it, in heels I’m basically 6’ tall. I think debating is fun and I often take the devil’s advocate, so a good partner for me is someone who can debate their point of view without taking personal offense to the opposition's remarks on the subject and can have fun with the discussion. I appreciate a man with an open mind and an interest in learning from others. I don't believe in playing games and I expect honesty from someone I am dating. Someone who actually enjoys getting dressed up and attending the performing arts (not just says they do because that’s what women like to hear) would be great. And, yes, I will call you on it; I have a few gowns in my closet. On the flip side, I consider the knack for tailgating a big plus. How are you at grilling?
