Originally from Rochester, I moved away to go to college and ended up living in NYC and Chicago. I moved back to the Flower City about two years ago to be closer to my family. I'm fortunate to have so many wonderful relatives in the area, and I enjoy rediscovering Rochester as an adult and making new friends.
I am easy going, confident, independent, open-minded, and have a very positive outlook on life. I am a career driven woman who loves her job! I have a good sense of humor and can be a bit sarcastic, and I am quite honest - don't ask me for my opinion unless you really want to know, because you're gonna get it, believe me! It's okay, I can take it as well as I dish it out. I expect the same in return.
I find I've become obsessed with yoga and I love to sing and dance - though I may not be particularly good at either, it doesn't stop me. I tend to collect colorful scarves and antique furniture, and I can be a bit of a neat freak. I confess to being a former workaholic, but since I moved back home I've really come to appreciate a good work/life balance.
I enjoy catching up with friends over dinner/drinks/coffee and I love checking out ethnic restaurants, but I'm just as happy staying in, watching a movie, and making a home cooked meal. I am very passionate about cooking, eating healthy and working out.
My ideal guy is someone who is honest with himself and others and has a good sense of humor. He is generally happy with his life and is family oriented like myself. He's intelligent, confident, and enjoys cooking and traveling. A big plus if he loves pugs as much as I do.
