Anyone can start off at first and goal for a touchdown. Not everybody has the talent or patience to learn all the plays to get them down the field for a guaranteed touchdown, every time. I'm fortunate to have a job I truly enjoy. Currently, my job keeps me away from home during the week and home most weekends. My independence is important to me. I have trouble censoring myself. I say what I mean, I mean what I say. I tend to be sarcastic, most of the time. I am, secretly competitive. I don't like lies or liars. I don't sweat the small stuff. I learn something new every day and that makes me happy. Dogs make me smile (huge dog lover). I live life without regret. All the things I've done made me the person I am today and I wouldn't change a thing. Positive, is how I see myself. There is so much negativity that gets spread, there's no need to contribute more. It's important to have someone that challenges you and pushes you, but more importantly knows when not to push. The person you are with should make you want to be a better person. A relationship shouldn't be a chore. I'm not perfect, I don't want to be and that's ok. I work on what's important to me; sometimes I succeed and often times I fail, but I don't stop trying. I have tattoos and each represent a meaning. I don't believe in right or wrong...it's what works, it's all good! I will not apologize for my feelings, they're never wrong. I don't offend easily, if at all. I tend to do better with direct, up front people. One should not take the path of least resistant because it's the known path and the safest; it isn't always the path to yield the desired outcomes. It takes a stronger person to take the journey down the more difficult path and suffer the consequences; for the unknown path is more likely to yield what one desires the most. If it makes you smile, then it CAN'T be bad! It's not possible for something to be bad if it gives you happiness. I don't think you should ever give up on something you can't go a day without thinking about. I believe that everything good is worth the fight. Just remember, to fight for and not against. It's important to see life through a child's eyes. It's profound. I've been extremely fortunate to have learned so many things from all my nieces and nephews in my life. They offer a perspective like no other. I try every day to apply those lessons to my life. There are so many things in life that I want to control but I've learned that there are many more that I can't control. And that's ok. Your choices don't have to make sense to anyone, but YOU. I never want to feel as though I need to explain my choices. I believe honesty is the most important to make a relationship work, followed by trust. Without either of them NO relationship will last. They are automatically given, it's your job to figure out how to keep them. Once you lose them, it's near impossible to get them back. So protect them! As important as it is to be someone's first call of their day; it's more important to be their last. Sometimes you just need to be the one to tell someone it's going to be ok, even if it's not. It's important for them to know that they're not alone. There's nothing wrong with crumbling, whenever needed. You should never be afraid to tell someone how they make you feel, good or bad. A few things I look for... Sarcasm Confidence Spontaneity Dependable Intelligence Open-minded Positive Sense of humor Not everything needs to be fixed. Most times it's acknowledging that does the fixing. Submitted from mobile
