I'm inspired by social entrepreneurism and those that strive to create positive change in the world. After having my son at 23 right after graduating with an art degree, I've overcome a lot of adversity to get to the place I am today. I would love to be able to grow and share the adventure of life with someone special and am hopeful for a new beginning.
Even though I continue to make efforts to slow down, my life continues to build in momentum as I develop my wellness business in addition to raising my son, and finishing my Masters degree ( I hope to be done by Spring ).

I plan to eventually build my career to a level where I can easily travel and perhaps teach internationally. I have always wanted to live for long periods of time in Costa Rica. I want a surfing companion, someone to share a healthy and spiritual lifestyle with me and my 12 year old son. I crave time by the ocean and enjoy weekend getaways as well as international excursions. My son and I spent a month in Costa Rica this past July and bonded while learning how to surf. It was quite an exciting trip!
I studied art in undergrad and while my business is primarily science based, I am an artist at heart and hope to paint again soon when I make free time. Right now, my creativity comes through my teaching, gardening, cooking, and home-design.
