Native New Englander - not originally from CT, but enjoying life here. I'm independent, sensitive, kind, and loyal. Educated, a bit of a bookworm, love to learn and challenge my mind. I strive to live a simple, healthy life - I like staying in and reading (currently Desert Solitaire by Edward Abbey), as well as being outside and active (hiking state parks with my dog). I have a job that is very challenging but allows me to care for other people, which is professionally and spiritually fulfilling. I'm looking for someone who complements my strengths and weaknesses with his own. I believe it's necessary to have certain things in common, but I'm not looking for someone who's just like me! An ideal match for me would be one where we both feel like we can be ourselves, and where life is easier and more fun when we're together.
