Honestly, where to begin? Maybe, I lost my soul mate, best friend, father of my beautiful child at the hands of a drunk driver, so I know life can completely suck. But it's also gracious, beautiful, and full of potential. My friends say I need to keep living and get out, and i tend to agree with them, so I'm doing just that. Enjoying the small things and taking a day at a time.
I am determined to take tragedy and make something good out of it. I am working with the local chapter of MADD and becoming a spokesperson for them. I've also been writing a book, not just about this experience but about life and living in general. From emerging from victim to survivor to ultimately becoming an achiever. I have had some extraordinary events in my life, both good and bad, and none of it means anything if one doesn't take control and make it purposeful.
Really, I just want to get out and find some normal again too.. At the core, I am a pretty simple girl. Maybe a fun activity partner to start. A good conversationalist about stupid things. Someone that is funny. Laughter is good, really good...And believe it or not, I'm a pretty funny gal.
Travel, camping, outdoor adventures, pool, bowling, movies, yeah...I'm pretty easy to please.
