Advance apologies for any profile writing faux pas – I’m new to this so be nice.
About me: I recently moved back to the area (yes, I’m one of the few locals) after having lived in East Africa for the past year and a half. I figured if I could conquer Kampala (bonus points if you know where that is without looking it up), I could try online dating. My friends would describe me as funny, witty, social, and smart (but I’m guessing most profiles have some combination of those adjectives anyway, so that probably didn’t help at all). So, what else? I love to travel, especially abroad (and I secretly love tallying the number of countries I’ve been to). I enjoy meeting new people, learning about other cultures, and attempting to see things from someone else’s perspective (unless it is different from mine – KIDDING). I like trying new things and can be talked into doing just about anything at least once. . . which my friends regularly take advantage of and convince me to do things like sky diving (in hindsight I think that was more for their entertainment than mine own). I also love going out to new restaurants and cooking for friends. If there is good company, good food (and drinks), I’m happy. I like hiking and am definitely a mountain (rather than beach) person. I have been to most of the National Parks out West and hoping to finish off that list eventually. There are lots of other things that I could mention, but I should leave something to talk about in person, right?
