My passions are traveling, seeing new places and meeting new people. I’m adventurous, and always trying new things. I keep trying olives, but so far they're too salty and squishy and yucky so I hate them. But I used to say that about sushi, and now I'm a fan. So I guess I like new things, retrying old things, and I like really really old things - old buildings, old dusty books, old photos telling the story of another time, and old crusty men with amazing tales to tell, just looking for someone to listen.
As for travel, a trip last fall out to Montana started with hiking Glacier National Park, in search of bears and wildlife, then eating huckleberry everything. I'm completely in love with the huckleberry - never see them around here though. It continued through Idaho (wahoo!! 41 states down, only 9 to go!), following the route of Lewis and Clark while listening to Undaunted Courage (just an amazing book), then out to Seattle to stay with really good friends, and drink their beer. Love love LOVE sampling the local brews whenever I travel. Alas, too many beers, not enough time...
I'm looking for a man who's smart, cute, funny to me, and open to trying new things. He'll have his own friends, hobbies, and interests, but enjoy telling me stories about his day, his life, hopes and dreams. And he will have dreams - a bucket list - and maybe we can do some of them together. Except Nascar - fast cars turning left doesn't do much for me. But camping, cooking together, road trips, running, beer tasting, kissing, hiking, Bikram yoga, exploring the world, and naked massages - that's all stuff I'd love to do with you.
