I like: the rain as it beats down on a window. Poetry. Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Greek, and southern food. Faith, hope and charity. A nice smile and a sparkle in the eye. Honesty. Guys who are handy. Art and museums. Thriftiness and frugality. Curiosity, good books and blogs. Coffee and tea. Health. Fidelity. My Creator, Yeshua (Jesus). Family. Not necessarily in that order. My faith is utmost to me, so if you are a "nominal believer" or pew warmer, we probably would make good friends, but never more. Ministry is my life.
As for my current status: I am separated, not by my choice. I believe in lifelong, biblical marriage, and am only looking for friends right now; only after the divorce is final will I ever consider courtship. My ex is on another coast, cheating on me from what I found out recently, and tricked me into separating from him back in January under the guise that we would separate and work on our marriage. I was devastated, as we are both believers. This happened the beginning of this year, and I was served with divorce papers early this year. It was a six year marriage and I do not regret helping raise his three children into the beautiful teenagers that they have become. I love children, and look forward to having a family someday, either as a stepmother again, or of my own, with children, adopting, fostering, whatever. I currently work with children at church, and I tutor adults and children as a profession.
