I think it's time for a re-write! I feel like I've changed a lot in the last 6 months! I'm a Momma to 2 amazing kiddos. That's my #1 job :) I am also a self taught Cake Artist. I currently work at my family's bakery, but have also created a Cake and Party planning business in Nashville with a friend from high school! It will be a big move from the small town where we currently live, but I am excited for the opportunity!! I am in Nashville most weekends now, but will be there full time when we will open our doors in June!! I work all the time, but I make sure to go out whenever I get the chance! I'm having much more fun than I thought was possible :) Ok....let's see.... I am totally ADD (and creative!) and tend to be forgetful and have trouble completing thoughts(AND use parentheses entirely too much ) AND am known to ramble (SORRY!!) I am pretty health conscious (I've watched too many documentaries on food!) and try to buy organic or all natural everything. I do boot camp work outs with a trainer and a small group of friends which I consider half therapy and half exercise. I'm kind of Girly- I love makeup and funky jewelry- I wear jeans and a tshirt most every day. I don't teach anymore, but truly love kids. I worked with low income families for most of my teaching career and really have a heart for that population... I hope to find ways to still be involved once I get to Nashville. I really enjoy live music - especially with a folk or soulful vibe (think Mumford & Sons/ Avett Brothers- but on a local level) - and hanging out with friends. I love family time - which ranges from a day at the park or on the tennis courts to dance parties in the kitchen and everything in between! I believe anything can be fun if you choose to have a good time. I love things that are different and interesting and although we've lived in a small town for all of my kids' lives, I've always tried to instill the beauty of differences and uniqueness to ensure they are open minded. Hopefully that will help them with the potential culture shock of our move to the big city... My ideal guy will be someone that I'm attracted to, who is a hard worker but never puts work ahead of family, loves God, is genuine, HONEST, who makes me smile and think and so much more that I can't put into words. I'm not avidly looking for a husband or boyfriend... I just like to meet people and get to know them.... if there's something there - we will know it!! If not, hopefully we make a new friend :)
