Living in OC, but working in LA, I thought that coming on here might just be the way to put me in the path of that elusive person that I could someday call my special someone.
I am strongly drawn to someone that makes an effort to take care of himself physically, spiritually, and mentally (we never stop growing). Need someone that is much more a leader than a follower, exudes quiet confidence and is more interested in how he can contribute to the world than in how the world contributes to him.
Think that intelligence and confidence are very sexy attributes, which are enhanced when accompanied by a playful sense of humor. I find an adventurous spirit up for trying new things and going to new places, near and far (lived in Spain a while back, enjoyed Belize, and most recently, went on a Mediterranean cruise), very appealing. Find a great, heartwarming smile attached to a compassionate soul very appealing.
I like to think that most people that know me well would say that I share most of the attributes and qualities that I find attractive in a significant other. I have a large extended family that I'm close to and have to say that my heart melts a bit when I see the special someone in my life treat others with love, care and respect.
While I am usually approached by men that are much younger and I still put a certain value on instant physical attraction, I hope to come across someone that has similar values, and has enough life experience, depth and substance to become an intriguing keeper. ;)
