I am very outdoorsy, easy going type of person, very positive. I am not into arguing or conflict - just too laid back for that and really it's a waist of energy. I enjoy camping, kayaking, hiking, biking (both road and mountain) - really anything outdoors. I love taking day trips to the beach. Doesn't take much to make me happy. Also, love to play sports and watch football too (I am a die-hard NY Giants fan). I play softball in the spring and summer. Love when it snows and if time allows hit the slopes. I have been to Europe, Canada and out West to ski with Europe being my favorite (esp Italy). Bon Jovi and the Beatles are my favorite bands but I enjoy all types of music mostly rock. Enjoy Hair Nation on Sirius radio as well as breakfast with the Beatles on Sunday mornings.
I love Wildwood, Cape May, LBI, Belmar - any beach will work. Disney World and Wizarding World of Harry Potter make me feel like a kid again - definitely want to go back for a visit. Am a huge fan of cruising too - would love to go on a cruise to Europe or Caribbean. Been to several carribean islands - think St. Lucia and St. Maarten are my favorite.
Try to workout a few times a week. I've done 2 half-marathons and my first sprint triathalon this past summer. Not a crazy workout person by any means just like to challenge myself.
Favorite type of shows are definitely anything that makes me laugh - The Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls, and Modern Family. Also enjoy Revolution, Chicago Fire, Amazing Race, Parenthood, Vampire Diaries and the Biggest Loser.
Love animals - I have 2 German Shepherds and a cat. They all get along great and when they play it's pretty darn funny to watch.
If you're ex-wife/girlfriend just moved out - perhaps it's best if you let the dust settle on that before you reach out. I would hope to find someone that has similar interests and is pretty comfortable with who they are and is generally a happy person. I really love to laugh so hope you would have good sense of humor. Someone who isn't a couch potatoe and can leave the past in the past where it belongs. Someone who knows the value of friendships and family. And maybe it could be the start of something really special.
