Are you interested is finding that special person that can be a friend and partner? I'm looking for a beginning with someone who has the potential to be just that. Being friends first allows for a more relaxed, natural way to get to know one another. So much of what relationships are based on today is superficial and self serving. Careers, interests and looks can change, but what is in the heart is much more important.
I can be somewhat reserved at times, but am really warm and friendly. My friends call it my "sophisticated charisma". Learning is my passion, whether it is a new skill, reading a new book, or just living a new experience. My friends joke about all the trivial knowledge I have. I belive that life is to be lived not over-come. That's why I love the phrase - Live, Laugh, Love. Laughter is the best medicine. I love to laugh with my friends, family and sometimes just at myself. Keeping a sense of humor helps us to live fully without getting bogged down with negativity. Loving is simple to do when you see that all those around you have the same wants, needs and feelings. Whether it is a random act of kindness or an extreme display of affection, it makes the world a better place.
Singing really makes me happy. I also like to cook, bake and craft. The outdoors is wonderful to explore when hiking, taking photos or enjoying an afternoon picnic. If there are kids or animals around, I am sure to get involved. You have to act like a child at least 15 minutes a day to keep your spirit young.
Travelling is great, so is staying in and watching a movie. Holland is one of my favorite places, having seen the "family homestead" there. Living in the Virgin Islands, I have a better sense of what it means to be a global citizen too.
