Here's a little about me: I'm like an M&M--I have a hard, thin candy coating but I'm soft and gooey on the inside. What I mean by that is I seem very independent, and am to a certain extent, but that doesn't mean I don't need people. I like to be taken care of from time to time and I like to take care of others too! I like to think I'm an interesting mix of traditional and non-traditional values. I grew up in Kansas, but lived away in various parts of the country and the world for about 8 years. I'm back in Lawrence now and am so happy to be here! I'm kind, generous, fun and often funny (despite my weakness for cheesy metaphors). I tend to enjoy my various "comfort zones" very much, but am annoyed by that so I force myself out of them from time to time. I'd like to think I'm pretty down-to-earth (though I do enjoy punctuality--I blame my parents). And those are some of my good qualities. I have some bad ones too of coures, but since I'm trying to make a good impression here, I'll let you find out about those on your own. :) Who am I looking for? Is it silly to say I'll know it when I see it? I'm trying to keep an open-mind about this because I don't want to block myself off from possibilities. That being said, in general, I'm looking for something to have easy conversation with about any topic under the sun. I'd love someone who can make me laugh, who challenges me but can keep an open-mind. I want someone who is kind and considerate. I'd like someone who can introduce me to new things, but who is also comfortable staying in and relaxing with a book or TV, etc. Bottom line, I'm looking for a companion.
