I am down to earth, independent and passionate. I subscribe to the theory “work hard, play hard”. I am a transplanted New Yorker and have been living in Baltimore for the past two years. Every now and then the accent slips out, you’ll love it. Life in Baltimore brings me peace and balance. I have an amazing job that I love that allows me to enjoy my other passions in life. It’s a refreshing change of pace.
I am extremely active. I live downtown which allows me to walk, run or bike all over the city. I like to run some key races throughout the year like a 5k, 10k and the occasional Half Marathon. I make time a few times a week for yoga. I have been taking golf lessons for the past few years, I am awful at it but I am addicted. I love being outdoors. So a hike down at the reservoir or a day at the beach is pretty much a perfect day.
I am a foodie. I love trying new and delicious things. Whether it’s a restaurant in town, the food truck on the corner or opening some wine at home while cooking up a recipe I found.
Music is a huge part of my life. I don’t sing or play an instrument, at least well enough to do so in public. I was raised by a huge music fanatic for a father. I like a wide range of music from Rock, Rap, Country, and Folk. I love discovering new bands/artist. I try to take in live shows as much as I can, whether it’s a local band at Ram’s Head or someone like Mumford & Sons at the Patriot Center.
I travel a lot for work and for play. I love going to new cities and experiencing its culture. I have a long bucket list of places I want to see in this lifetime. I have been fortunate to see a lot of the U.S. through work and I always try to build in one day for play if I can.
I am always looking for a recommendation for a new movie or a good book. I appreciate guy humor; can quote Family Guy and any movie with Will Ferrell or Vince Vaughn. I’d like to think I have a good sense of humor, I can be silly. Make me laugh and we’ll get along just fine. I can appreciate a night in just as much as a night out. I am just as comfortable in a t-shirt and jeans as I am all dressed up.
I love sports. And I am not one of those girls that say that just because she thinks guys want to hear that. I went to Penn State (no child molesting jokes) so I follow college football and will always hate Ohio State. I wear my purple Ravens gear during football season and if not at the game, I am watching it with friends. Being from New York I have an allegiance to the Giants but I detest the Yankees. I was raised a Met fan and have come to love the O’s. I love going to games, it might be one of my favorite Baltimore rituals.
My family and friends are extremely important to me. I have a crazy close extended Italian family back in New York who I try to see as much as I can. I have been truly blessed with the people in my life.
I am looking for a friend, a partner who shares the same interests as me. Someone open minded who will try new things and introduce me to new things. I am too old for games; I am looking for someone who is interested in taking our time getting to know each other. I only ask that you be open, honest and respectful.
