So it appears we all survived the end of the world and have not gone over the fiscal cliff. Phew. I was worried there for a bit but, I’m back in the swing of things. I’m hoping 2013 will bring new and exciting moments along with someone to share those moments with. I'm not going to lie--I'm not a fan of camping, coffee or cooking. Yes, I like to eat but, if I have to make it we should probably just eat out. I like to keep in shape but, if you see me running it’s probably because I’m being chased. I really enjoy gardening and I have a few backyard projects that I’m working on now. I think I’m pretty darn funny but, I’m not ready for stand up. I like to sing in the shower, in the car and at work. Don’t be jealous that I know a lot of Bon Jovi songs. If you want, I’ll teach them to you. I went to Catholic school for 12 years. I’m still trying to recover from the experience. I have faith, I just won’t try to push it on you.
I’m a veterinarian and enjoy almost everything about it. It’s a very rewarding job that allows me to help people and the pets they love. Who wouldn’t want to work with puppies and kittens all day long? That’s what I’m talking about. I’ve been single for a long time because I really hate the bar scene and consider myself mildly socially inept. (Crazy, I know) That’s when I thought online dating would work for me. Unfortunately, I haven’t quite proven to be a master at that either. I know all my pictures show me having a great time with a zillion different people. Believe me, it’s like a movie trailer, I’m giving you the best parts. I’m typically a home body not a party animal.
A few other interesting details-- I love to shop and eat. I think going to the movies is fantastic and would love a partner to do that with. I’m kind of a freak about Pinterest. I really believe that one day I will make all those recipes, build that furniture or have a body like a goddess. Dare to dream. Truthfully, I do enjoy DIY projects. I really did make a deck in my backyard with pallets. I’ve gained an appreciation for power tools and a nail gun that I never thought would happen. The deck actually turned out awesome and I was quite proud of the final result.
What I hope to find is someone witty, intelligent and funny. What I really find attractive in a guy is good spelling and grammar. There’s nothing sexier than knowing your ABCs. Except someone who knows to differentiate their, there and they’re. Now that’s HOT. I like witty, playful text banter—it brightens my day. I’m a good conversationalist and a good listener as well. I should have been a therapist or at least play one on TV. However, I will stick to animal medicine for this lifetime.
Some other things I enjoy are hanging in SF. I grew up in San Francisco so the city is second nature to me. Going to Giants games, being at the beach, reading and gardening projects are some of the things I do in my spare time. I’ve found quite a few great restaurants in Santa Cruz that have great food and ambience. I do enjoy the Crow’s Nest, Oswald’s and Michael’s on Main. All those places are fabu and there are so many others I have yet to check out.
It would be great to find someone to share the mundane with. I’m a pretty simple individual. My favorite clothes are jeans and flip flops. To me, happiness is having someone to laugh with, someone to eat with and someone to share life’s everyday moments with. I hope he’s out there somewhere.
